Sandy Johnson, is not a new face on the EDS campus, so we are thrilled to have her full time this year as part of our Middle School staff. Ms. Johnson comes to us with life experience in the networking industry at SynOptics, Nortel Networks, and Cisco systems.

She took 10 years off to be with her children full-time, and then decided to change careers and join the teaching profession. Most recently, Ms. Johnson worked at East Palo Alto Charter School for 3 years with 6^th, 7^th, and 8^th grade students and then here at EDS in 5^th grade with Mr. Hansen. Through these experiences, Ms. Johnson has developed a true passion for teaching middle grade students. In her free time, she enjoys cycling, gardening, scrapbooking, and spending time with her two children, Amy and Mark.
