The Parent Teacher Organization coordinates and sponsors events throughout the school year.  Our main goal is to provide the funds necessary to augment the classroom curriculum with enrichment activities for each grade level of EDS.  For example:

• Field trip transportation costs                 • Class Funds for each teacher

• Art In Action - EDS's art program           • Starting Arts theatre program

• Assemblies                                             • Living History Days

We also try to create a sense of community where every family feels welcomed and at home.  Consider joining in our efforts by participating in one of the many events this year like the Walk-A-Thon, Movie Nights, Dinner Out, Gardening, International Faire, and Teacher Appreciation Week.
