I grew up in sunny Southern California, but I decided to move north for college and never went back! I graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a degree in film and I received my teaching credential from San Francisco State. I recently returned from New York City, where I completed an MA in Elementary Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. I couldn’t be more thrilled to start my teaching career as part of the team at EDS.

When I’m not at school, I love spending time with friends and family, but most of my time is spent trying to entertain my puppy, Otis (and keep him out of trouble!).

I also like to dabble in painting and baking every now and then.
