What is Scrip?

Scrip is a program where businesses donate money to schools. There are three basic ways to earn money for EDS.

Register you club cards and/or credit cards with Escrip - if you are not okay with registering credit cards, you can just register your grocery club cards. Every card counts.

When you do online shopping, start by going through Escrip or Box Tops for Education marketplace. They also offer discounts at certain stores.

Buy gift cards from the school for your shopping and gift giving needs. If you shop with cash or checks - it is so easy to just write the check or give the cash to us and get a gift card to give to the store. Then the school gets a % of your purchase and it did not cost you a thing extra! Scrip gives high return. Some stores will even give money on both Scrip and Escrip, so stop by the office and buy your Scrip today!
Example: Buy Safeway Scrip cards at school and have your Safeway club card registered with Escrip = double donations for your purchase!

Scrip is our full time, year round, easiest fundraiser for parents to participate in. Little effort can bring great rewards. Stop by the table if you have questions. You can also download the list of items we carry from the school website.

Where Does The Money Go?

The money is used for the benefit entire school: field trips, assemblies, learning enrichment in the classroom and much more. Families also earn money on Scrip purchases from the school for their Science Camp accounts.

What is a Science Camp Account?

In the 5th grade, students go to Science Camp!

Many fundraising opportunities are provided for families to offset the cost. One is a Scrip Science Camp Account: 1% of all your Scrip purchases from the school will go into an ‘account’ for your family to use when a child in your family goes to Science Camp. 1% may sound small, but it can really add up. If you start in K and you just bought Scrip for your grocery shopping and you only spent $200 a month (school months) - you would have $100 of your trip paid for by Scrip. Imagine if you bought Scrip for other things or even just for all your groceries!!

	Box Tops for Education Every Time you go to the grocery store and purchase the products that have the BoxTop, just clip them and bring it to the school office. For every BoxTop the school gets 10 cents. For details on how the program works you can go to the BoxTops for Education.

	Albertsons If you shop at Albertsons, you can link your savings card and your community partner card on their web site and the school will receive up to 4% of your purchase back.
